Keystone Press Agency
Bert Garai founded Keystone Press Agency in the early 1900’s in London with the philosophy of the agency being to “see beyond the borders.” Since 1960 when Bob Moynier founded the Canadian office in Montreal, international news has become more and more popular. This has contributed to the agency’s success and resulted in an extensive collection. The collection includes news and feature photos from all over the world, covering many diverse subjects of international interest including portraits of many of the most notorious personalities of the 20th century. These portraits include images of such people as Sophia Loren, Winston Churchill, and the Dalai Lama. The works are original press photographs printed at the time of the original story, not later reprints.
