Myth, Magic and Mystery is an exhibition showcasing photographers who present visual phenomena to address non-visual states. If we allow the metaphor of a photograph to be a window to the world – the world presented does not have to be purely visual. Photography’s potential to examine issues of faith, belief and emotion are almost as old as its history. From its infancy photography has fascinated generations with its ability to preserve and expand the fleeting moment. Its dynamic is to allow us to “relive” what we see regardless of whether it is real or imagined.
